With a one-hand weight and feet hip-width apart, stand while putting your weight on your left leg. Initially, hold the weight up with both hands, by your left shoulder. Then, twist with your knees and feet in pivot, while making a chopping action towards your right hip. Bring the weight back up to your left shoulders to finish the routine. Repeat 20 times, before working on your right side.

 Maintain a sitting position with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Lean back so your torso will be in a 45 angle to the floor. With a dumbbell held in both hands, raise feet from the ground, crossing them at the ankles, while maintaining your balance on your butt. Next, twist your torso to the right, letting your dumbbell touch the floor next to your body. Then twist your torso this time to the left, bringing the dumbbell to the left side of your body. Repeat alternately while keeping your balance and with your legs and torso lifted from the ground.

3.     Side Plank Hip Lifts

Start in a side plank position with your elbow on the mat, while letting your legs and hips rest. Slowly, use your abs while keeping your body in a straight line, to lift up the lower half of your body off the ground to assume a straight plank position. Lower your body again and repeat. Complete this routine with 15 side plank hip lifts for each side of your body.

4.     Bicycle Crunches

Lie on your back while keeping your knees bent and your hands behind your head, without clasping them together. Using your abdominal muscles, raise your shoulders and upper back off of the ground. While doing it, position your right elbow towards your left knee, allowing them to meet in the center of your body. Then, bring your left elbow to your right knee to switch your position. Repeat this as fast as you can while maintaining your torso lifted from the ground.
